Common questions
Do you charge hourly or by the ton?
Both. Hourly works well for site work and jobs with waiting time. Per-ton works well for steady hauls between a quarry and a site. We can quote both so you can compare.
Where do you work?
We're based in South Carolina and haul across the state, from the Upstate to the Lowcountry.
Can you help us meet DBE goals?
Yes. Lightyear is DBE and MWBE certified.
How many trucks can you send?
Up to 130 across tri-axles, tandems, quads, end dumps and belly dumps, through our own fleet and partner owner-operators. Use the load calculator above to size your job, then book a call to confirm availability.
What should I have ready for the discovery call?
The job location, material, rough quantity and target start date. A bid number or plans help, but aren't required.
